Overview
The new office for Netcompany, designed and delivered by Dandelion Design and Build, transforms Level 29 of Opal Tower into a high-performance workplace that reflects the company’s culture and global identity.
Acting as both designer and builder, Dandelion provided a fully integrated design-and-build solution, managing the project seamlessly from concept development through construction and final execution.
The design strictly follows Netcompany’s global brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all elements from spatial planning to material selection. At the same time, the workspace responds thoughtfully to the local context, creating a distinctive environment that reflects both the company’s values and Dandelion’s creative approach.
Concept & Spatial Strategy
With an entire floor to develop, the office is envisioned as an open and flexible workplace.
Spaces are seamlessly connected, using sheer curtains to create subtle divisions while maintaining visual continuity throughout.
This approach preserves openness while allowing different teams and departments to coexist comfortably within a shared environment.
Functional Layout
The layout integrates a diverse range of work settings, supporting both focused tasks and collaboration, including:
- Open workstations
- Freestanding collaboration tables
- Phone booths
- Meeting booths
- Private rooms for different departments
This variety ensures adaptability for different working styles and daily activities.

Furniture & Workplace Experience
Furniture from Holmris B8 also specified for Netcompany’s headquarters in Denmark has been incorporated to reinforce global brand consistency across offices.
Employee well-being is a central focus of the design. Workstations are equipped with:
- Height-adjustable desks
- Ergonomic task chair
- Individual lockers
Floor-to-ceiling glass partitions allow natural light to flow throughout the workspace, enhancing comfort and overall work experience.
Shared Spaces
A welcoming pantry area provides space for relaxation and informal interaction, encouraging connection beyond work tasks.
Lighting & Acoustic Performance
Lighting and acoustics were carefully studied to support productivity:
- Pendant lighting creates focal points and soft ambient illumination
- Task lighting is positioned for focused work areas
- Double-glazed partitions and sound-absorbing panels (STC 45) ensure acoustic comfort and privacy
These elements work together to create a balanced and efficient working environment.
Result
The result is a thoughtfully designed workplace that integrates brand identity, functionality, and employee well-being forming a cohesive environment that supports both productivity and collaboration.
